My story

If you peered under my bed tonight, you’d find a clear, flat rollaway container stacked with Sky Magazines, Delta’s former in-flight travel publication. I grew up an airline kid, and every new flight meant two things: 1.) I had to dress up (jeans for standby dependents were once a faux pas), and 2.) I would get to read the latest Sky Magazine. The latter thrilled me.

Far-off destinations and dynamic words enticed teenage me enough to email Sky Magazine’s editor (editor emails once followed their signature—a sweet accessibility from a novel past) and ask how I could write for a living. And to my surprise, the editor wrote back.

I wish I would recall their response, but their generosity ignited the spark that guided my career’s journey.

Storytelling became and remains my life.
I am a professional seeker, unearthing the layers within the human experience and championing opportunities for discovery and connection.

My journey has meandered through editorial roles, hosting, social media marketing, production coordination, story production, public relations, and copyediting, weaving together a colorful career tapestry.

I have been fortunate to share travel, wellness, lifestyle, and narrative stories and cover major events like the Super Bowl, Art Basel, and international tours for readers and watchers worldwide.

While rooted in Miami, Florida, I have hosted segments for ReachTV and USA Today and published on SELF, Refinery29, BizBash, The Guardian, and more. My client work includes collaborations with Meta, Virgin Voyages, Virgin Hotels, and American Express UK.

Much like the Sky Magazine editor who took the time to return my inquiry, I continue to share my career experiences with others forging their paths: My speaking engagements include presentations for the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the University of Miami, the United Way of Miami-Dade, and Barry University.

When I’m not busy mastering media, you can find me chasing the sun, snuggling my dog, or staring at my fridge.
